Moose Lake Fire District rescue boat on the lake

Rescue

Responding to vehicle accidents, water emergencies, trail incidents, and more — equipped and trained to help when it matters most.

Our Rescue Operations

The Moose Lake Fire District responds with our pumper Rescue to accidents involving vehicles on our local roads, highways, and the Interstate. We have extrication tools including the Jaws of Life, Cutters, Airbags, and a 9-foot light mast tower.

With the many trails running through our area that see heavy snowmobile and ATV use, we have a Polaris crew ATV that can be deployed for accident responses in areas inaccessible to standard apparatus.

We also respond to water and ice rescue calls with our Zodiac boat. Our members have completed Basic Animal Rescue Training (BART), allowing us to assist with large and small animal emergencies as well.
